July — Sept 2019
I just wanted to drop you a line with my thoughts on the job done here. It’s not 100% complete, but I am so very happy with what’s been done!
The guys were great. Very nice, and happy to answer any questions I had. Toby, Loran, and Ben were very friendly, hardworking, knew their stuff, and I could tell they took pride in their work (There was at least one other fellow here, but I didn’t get a chance to meet him).
Carton was fantastic. He took the time to address any concerns I had, and in a very professional manner. He also took the time to explain what they were going to be doing, and how they were going to do it. He is the kind of team leader you want. He knew what had to be done, and how to do it. He was very helpful to his team, and appeared to be a good teacher as well as a good leader.
The job Coy Brown Painting did here was nothing short of stellar, from beginning to end, the attention to detail was mindBlowing! This was exemplified when I was able to observe a painting job start across the street. They did no prep work. No power washing, no gap filling. None of the details needed to complete a job well done. They got started covering windows in the mid-afternoon. The next morning, they were already painting, and from what I could see, were already done by the afternoon. Sure, the job cost less than mine, but they’ll likely be painting again in a year or two.
I have lived in this house for about 2/2 years, and I was aware what the environment does to structures out here. Things started showing need for maintenance, and stupidly, I let things pile up. I couldn’t schedule things, not only because I didn’t know who to call, but with weekly trips to Woodland to help care for my recuperating mother, I also didn’t have the time to get things scheduled.
As things started to pile up, I started to even look out my windows, because all I saw, instead of the fantastic view, was all the things that needed to be taken care of. I started to “fall out of love” with my house. Well, thanks to Coy Brown Painting (and others), I am back in love with it, and I thank you. You’ve got a customer for life!

“I can’t say enough about Tommy and Micah!!! They are the most professional, skillful and conscientious people as well as being incredibly helpful, kind and sensitive to every possible detail. Honestly, I can’t imagine that there are any better then them out there, and I feel so lucky and grateful that we have been the recipients of their outstanding work. They don’t miss a thing and they are so willing to help at every turn when I have had questions or concerns. They are stellar communicators and gave us clear and concise guidance all the way along about what would need to be cleared each evening and what would be done each day. WOW!!!! They are the absolute BEST of the best.
Because of them, and you, Aaron, this has been a wonderful experience for us, even with having to face our ridiculous accumulation of “stuff”, and the chaos of everything needing to be be dismantled . Micah and Tommy were so careful with our things, too, always so aware of leaving everything safe and contained each night, with no mess at all. AMAZING. They are true professionals and a class act all the way.”

“To Whom It May Concern:
We have worked with Coy Brown Painting over two years as they helped to create our family Compound in Occidental, CA. From exterior painting of a complex and architectural group of structures, to the interior finish details of three on-site residences, they provided the skills, expertise and the experience to tackle all of our requests,
Because the Main House is over 55OO square feet, with domed ceilings of nearly 4 feet in height, it required tremendous amounts of prep time and skillful application. Coys team. took ion the sanding and staining of ceilings three domed rooms. It was a feat of admirable professionalism. The results were stunning and contributed to our home in the most artistic way. It seemed that whatever we asked of them, they had the experience and the people who could get it done,
In our experiences of building many different homes, we’ve worked with numerous painting contractors. Coy’s local team distinguished themselves by their attention to detail, their on time / on budget performance, and their gentle care of our property as they went about their business through all kinds of weather. They were efficient and their preparation work was excellent . The chaos was reduced by their excellent planning. Coy Brown was always accessible and on-site as needed, and his team members were polite, courteous, and trustworthy.
Our property is a unique one. We asked Coy Brown Painting to partner with us to bring this to completion and they not only delivered, they exceeded our call for attention to detail and skillful practices. Please call me directly if you would like a personal reference or have any questions. My cell is 415-297-3303.”
